Celtic completed their pre-season programme on Saturday with a comfortable 2-0 win against Norwich City, thanks to goals from Daizen Maeda and David Turnbull.
Aaron Mooy and Moritz Jens both made their debuts in the game but it was young Japanese midfielder Reo Hatate who once again caught the attention with another Man of the Match performance and Ange Postecoglou will be delighted with the form he’s shown in pre-season.
Sunday will see Celtic raise the league flag once again ahead of our opening league fixture with Aberdeen and after 11 weeks without competitive football the fans will be out in force to welcome their heroes back to Celtic Park once again.
Ange Postecoglou has indicated that we’re not quite finished in the transfer market yet, and we may well see some further comings and goings over the next few weeks as he looks to shape a squad capable on both the domestic front and in Europe.
