Knowing full well that he wouldn’t be taking his place in this season’s Scottish Cup Final regardless the outcome of Sunday’s Semi-Final, Cameron Carter-Vickers made the decision to literally put his body on the line in order to put his team-mates on the verge of history.

The US international has been an absolute rock at the heart of Celtic’s defence since his arrival in late summer 2021 and showed why he’s just so vital to Ange Postecoglou’s side with a colossal display against Rangers at Hampden Park.
He’ll now miss the remainder of the season as he undergoes surgery but does so as an undoubted hero of the 2022/23 campaign.
A campaign that could now see Celtic lift a World Record 8th Domestic Treble!
